Load Balancing on VPN 3030 - Same public & private subnet ??

For load balancing, do the two vpn concentrators have to be on the same public AND private subnet ? Or is it ok just to be on the same public subnet only ?

Hi There,

They have to be on the same subnet. The concentrators run VCA protocol to detect any failure on both interfaces

I'm having difficulty understanding why the private interfaces have to be on the same subnet. Having the public interfaces on the same subnet makes sense.
