Mikrotik IPSec Client connection to ASA5540.

Hello,

I am trying to configure ASA to accept IPSec VPN from Mikrotik. As I have seached there are many tutorials for Site to Site VPN between Mikrotik and ASA and I couldn't find any guid for IPSec client from Mikrotik OS. kindly share with me if anybody has done this before.

Hello @ladani001,

I did one VPN tunnel with Mikrotik OS and I used this tutorial and matched the configuration on the ASA, here is the link for reference: https://mivilisnet.wordpress.com/2016/11/29/site-to-site-mikrotik-ipsec-tunnel/

If you run into troubles, I would recommend to generate traffic from Mikrotik and enable the debugs on the ASA, it´s going to be a lot easier!

Thank you for your reply and link. this is for Site-to-site tunnel between MikroTik router and Cisco. I have done this before, but I am trying to connect IPSec tunnel client from Mikrotik to ASA like a VPN client Connection.
