I believe Movian (as well as all other client vendors I have found) have dropped support of their clients. I think they have seen the writing on the wall that the client will reside in the OS.

We have sucessfully configured L2TP/IPSEC from Pocket PC Premium to a 3015. You need to create a SA with mode being Transport (and a couple other minor things) but it is pretty straight forward.

Don't bother asking Cisco for help on this because they have been denying that this can work. I have sent them my research and asked them to publish a working model. I am doing stuff like replicating Lotus Notes using mNotes through the tunnel and it is working pretty well.

Let me know if you need more help. I have some documents I can send you.

Please share this with us. mracki@drivetime.com It would be a big help.

It has been awhile since I did this but let me try to recall. Make sure L2TP is turned on. Then you need to create a new SA. Cisco does not provide for one that works. The trick here is to use the Encapsulation Mode of Transport. The rest should be pretty straight forward. Let me know if it is not. I have more detailed docs I can send you if you need more.

Here, I found my notes. I attached them...

I'm sorry for this "Hello far-far along that time". Can you re-send your document linked this message to me? (aspid.asm@gmail.com)

Thanks.

appreciated if you can send the pdf file to lj@2u2.nu

Antha VPN allegedly works with Cisco VPN concentrators as a normal IPSec client. I have only been able to get it to work intermittantly, the device I'm using is not on their tested hardware list.

Does anyone have any suggestions for another 3rd party IPSec VPN client for Windows 2003 for pocket pc that would be compatible with the Cisco VPN concentrators?
