I have tried to setup multichassis mppp but could'nt get it to work. Finally I got a
second bri interface for each router at the two sites, so the setup now is one 2600 router
on site A with 8-port bri interface and one 1700 router with 2 bri interfaces at site B.
When configuring mppp for site B, I created one rotary group and put both bris under it.
Then under the dialer interface configuration i added both dialer strings (since I want
each bri interface to dial its own number). What happens is that the first string gets
dial and the second bri remains inactive even when I load the connection. I have kept
the threshold at 5.
Is it possible to start both the links at the same time in order to load-balance traffic.
Any help is highly appreciated.
