Hi All,
Has anyone migrated from Netmotion to Anyconnect? We currently using 3 flavours of VPN, Cisco IPSec client, Cisco SSL Anyconnect and Netmotion. I am looking to consolidate these services to Cisco, IPSec and Anyconnect only. However the benefits of Netmotion's persistant connections makes it a hard sell to replace. Has anyone been able to configure their Anyconnect VPN to match/replicate the service offered by Netmotion?
Thanks for the help.
Cheers
Deena

Hi Deena,
Which options do you want to preserve after a migration?
You can check most of the options supported by Anyconnect on the following links:
https://supportforums.cisco.com/document/12550601/anyconnect-xml-settings
https://supportforums.cisco.com/document/12549161/anyconnect-xml-preferences
Hope it helps

Hi Randy,
Thank you for the response and suggestions. Netmotion maintains the end users VPN connection even when they lose their network connection, when they are in areas where there is no network connectivity.
Thanks again for the info.

Hi Deena,
Something similar is the "Always on" feature on the VPN client, it locks down the user computer in case they lost the internet access, but keeps the VPN session active.
Cheers,
Randy

Thank you again. Is there a timeout, setting for Always on VPN? or does data get cache until the user gets internet access again?

Hi Deena,
I have a similar issue. Were you successful in using AnyConnect in place of NetMotion?
Thx,
John
