On a Cisco3845 a NM-2CE1/T1-PRI and a NM-30DM installed and configured for dialup access router. IOS is 12.4 version with advanced Enterprise feature. I found that even though E1 lines were answered but the NM-30DM did not provide Medem functions and the handshake between modems(Digital modem and analog client modem) did not take place. Really the modem tune can not hear at all when I test with normal phone. I suspect to the mismatch between platform and NM-30DM.
First, Do any others have similar expreniences?
Second what is the solution or workaround?
Please let me know if you have any comment or need more info or debug logs.
