I am using Windows 8(single language), 64-bit, for Internet 3G Dongle by MTS(Broadband).
I am trying to connect my office network using cisco client version-5.0.07.0440, It's giving
error "Secure VPN Connection terminated loccaly by the Client.
Reason 412: The remote peer is no longer "responding."
I tried following solution provided in cisco
added UseLegacyIKEPort=1 in profile file, checked registry key Cvirta which is
"Cisco System VPN Adapter for 64-bit Windows". but none is working.
It's using IPSEC transport.
Pls help me resolve this issue.
Thanks,
Nirmal

AFAIK - version 5.x is not supported in Windows 8.

Hi Shijomon,
1st time when I had installed this version then I was able to login although host was not getting
connected, giving error message while Telnet to host was "Host was not able to connect on port:23,
connect failed".
After installing the dne update even user validation get stopped and started throwing this error
message. It's not getting resolved even after uninstallation then installation.
Is there any another way which you know have worked?
Thanks,
Nirmal
