I have a Cisco 3800 series router. I wanted to use "Cisco Configuration Professional" for general configurations. I have admin privileges. I followed the following steps to turn on the http service.
Router(config)# ip http server
Router(config)# ip http secure-server
Router(config)# ip http authentication local
When I used Internet browser to connect to the default IP address, I cannot connect to the router further when I make a connection with SDM the router cannot be discovered either. I ran a scan utility and noticed that port 80 is closed on the router. Can someone please suggest how can I proceed. Open port 80? ACL ? or any other steps that are needed. Any tips would be nice...Thanks
