Hello,
We are suffering an strange behaviour when trying to integrate a Panda AV with Cisco CSA in a host.
If we use only the Panda, without the CSA, all seems to work fine. Once we installed the CSA on the same box several problems appeared. The most important one forbids the OS to get an IP address, therefore there is no network connectivity.
The CSA agent is not reporting any estrange log. Besides, to discard a block being made by the CSA, we installed an agent kit with only the AUI policy, but it still didnt work.
Now we suspect that is the Panda the one blocking the net, but we are not sure about that point.
Did any one of you have suffered this problem? Any advice will be welcome.
Thanks.
Ernest.

Try checking with any other available anti virus software.

Look for a TDI or other network shim installed by Panda AV. If present it could by in conflict with the CSA shim. We had to disable the McAfee VSE 8.0i TDI driver in oder for both the function properly together. There were no CSA messages to clue in on, it was just uneducated guessing (but it was right!).
You could do a custom install of Panda AV choosing only the basic AV and not any network protection.
Also check the Panda exceptions list (I don't know the product) to see of it is blocking anything.
