I am trying to setup a SSL Anyconnect VPN tunnel between a Cisco 9971 IP Phone and our ASA. I have selected AAA as the authentication mechanism and created local users on the ASA. Everything works fine i.e the VPN username password is prompted and once I put in the credentials the phone gets registered to the Call Manager
The issue is that when the phone is rebooted or the VPN disconnects then again the VPN username is prompted. How can we avoid asking the username and password or is there a way to store the credentials on the phone.
I know that this is possible in the IPSEC Client but not sure how to implement in the Anyconnect VPN.
Can someone pls guide
