I would like to use PC anywhere to remotely access my network. I was told that there was a way of coming in on any port and then having that port translated to the PC anywhere port. Does anybody know how this could be achieved?
Use PAT on your screening firewall to translate the destination port to the PCAnywhere port. I wouldn't recommend this though as you're opening yourself up to a whole load of security issues.
Thanks for that Dave. Would you (or anyone else) be able to suggest a good way to allow PC anywhere access to the LAN without compromising the router security too much?
