Hi,
I am using the VPN 3000 client and a PIX 515R 6.1.
When mail is sent the outbox does not show the mail as having left the outbox until refresh is pressed.
Any help would be gratefuly appreciated.

Which version of the VPN client are you using? We had this problem also. We moved to the VPN client 3.1.1 and it stopped happening.

Hi,
Is your Outlook-session working on- or offline? You will see this in Outlooks lower right corner, if there is a red "crossmarked" network drive, you are currently working offline, if this is the case the problem you are describing is by design.
If Outlook is configured to autodetect wether to work offline or not and wont receive a response from the Exchangeserver fast enough it will enter the offline mode, even if the Exchange is available. To work around this issue you can from E-mail settings, Exchange Server properties check the relevant boxes for your preferred settings ..
However, my experience show that in many cases it is a preferred solution to have remote clients (connected through Internet) work in offline mode since this will not cause any major problems if the network becomes unstable.
