When we configure VPN on PIX, must we reboot it ?

No you don't need to reboot, just makesure you've saved your config with write mem and also issue clear xlate and that should do it.

No Reboot needed,

When you change an existing VPN configuration you may need to reset the SA Security association to get the Tunnel up again.

clear isakmp sa

Delete the active IKE security associations.

clear ipsec sa

Delete the active IPSec security associations
