question about asa 5510 licenses and anyconnect

we have a asa5510 with 250 concurrent VPN connections on the license.

since cisco is not going to make a 64-bit client, are they going to give everyone an exchange for the SSL licenses since the licenses we purchased will no longer be useful.

has anyone gotten an answer on this?

Hi Craig

I don't think that Cisco will ever give the SSL licenses for free.

They will support IPSec with AnyConnect Client in mid 2010, as I'm informed.

So you won't have to migrate to SSL VPN, if you can wait until then.

Here's the complete statement I got:

1) The Cisco VPN Client will never support 64 Bit.
2) AnyConnect will be the only VPN client for the future.
3) Estimated mid 2010 the AnyConnect Client will be IPSec-able, too.

4) Estimated end 2010 the Cisco VPN Client will "die".
