Question about Licensing

Hi all, I have a client with an Pair of ASA

They have License of anyconnect Essentials and Mobile, and the ASA has two test license for VPN and They want to know the following:

When you connect a mobile client with anyconnet using IPSEC, every connection use one of this VPN licenses?

Because I thougt that the VPN licenses are for enable the feature and consume the essentials license.

Could any explainme better this please?

Hi Gonzalo,

Yes, every IKEv2 connnection from an AnyConnect client will use an AnyConnect client license, depending on which is one is enabled, either AnyConnect Essentials or Premium.
