remote console connection help

Hi,

Sorry if my topic is not fitting in this section...but I need some help in finding an equipment.

I need to connect to this equipment remotely, via IP, and then from there to connect via serial connection into console port of a cisco router.

So, this equipment should have 3,6 serial ports where I can connect the console ports of my equipments for console management purpose.

Is there a cisco equipment designed for this ? Or from another vendor ?

Try the 2500 series. You can configure them as terminal servers and can choose from models w/8 async ports or 16. I'm currently working on the AS2509-RJ. There are several documents on line to help w/setting it up. Here's a site to get you started.
