Reverse route - L2L vpn question

Hi all,

ASA 5510 running OSPF and also terminating few L2L vpn tunnels for satellite offices. Current setup is with static routes to reach satellite offices. I need to add a new office (L2L) and considering using reverse route injection for new location. Does

' crypto map MYMAP_map 50 set reverse-route'

(outside interface already have 'MYMAP_map' applied for existing tunnels).

This effects only that new subnet based on ACL ( with id 50 & when VPN comes up) or it impact all the existing L2L tunnels.

In other words, command is 'tunnel' specific or applies to all tunnels?

Hi mvsheik123,

i think this command effect only that peer and its tunnel.

because you create a tunnel-group with a name. that name is your peer's ip address. 

I guess ASA matches this criteria for vpn policy.
