Same IP conflict

I am able to connect to the vpn using quick VPN connect from home which I can control my home IP,

but what if I travel with my laptop, I have no control over the local IP.

How can I connect to a VPN when both IP's are the same?

i am not sure what kind of vpn you are talking about if its the ipsec pvn client then you dont have to worry about what local ip you get when you go to different locations as when you connect to vpn you would be given a ip from the vpn pool
