Secure Client 5.x versus Anyconnect 4.x - question

Is Secure Client 5.x, besides all the new features, a plug/play replacement for clients to be able to connect VPN to an ASA?  Reason I ask, is that for some reason, my ID not longer has access to download Any 4.x, but I can download Secure Client 5.x .  While I'm working that out, my main questions is that if I copy the Secure Client software to my ASA(s), will clients see that as an upgrade and have the new client uploaded at their next connection, or will it require a new installation for the end user?  And will the functionality appear to the clients to be the same? (no significant new training needed)

Yes,  4.x clients that are connecting to an ASA with 5.x will automatically upgrade to the Secure Client 5.x release.  Functionality/look and feel is very similar to AnyConnect 4.x.  Some new features etc were added, but you should read over the release notes for the 5.x client before proceeding with the upgrade.

Please take a look at this doc from Cisco Live, it is very helpful.
