site 2 site vpn when gateways in same subnet possible?

Hi all,

We have a customer who rents a part of a building owned by company 'A'

there is one internet connection owned by company 'A' . That company has a firewall to protect their inside Lan. The company provides wifi for the *Entire* building including the part of our customer.

Our customer got 1 public ip for their small office in the big building and also have an inside lan protected by their firewall.

Now, wifi clients want to access the inside lan of our customer by setting up a vpn connection, however this doesn't work.

What is the best way to accomplish access for wifi clients? Is it possible to set up a site 2 site vpn , while both firewalls are in the same network?

Thanks for you help,

Ralph

Does your customer have their own firewall?  They can setup like Cisco AnyConnect and all the clients can access it that way.
