I have a VPN Tunnel established between an ASA5508 and a Sonic Wall (not sure of model). So far I have been unsuccessful in pinging either from my local network or the remote network. What am I missing?

This is is nothing like what you have configured:

Oh, my apologies. That was a cut and paste from an email I received from the remote site's I.T. We later changed my subnet to 192.168.33.0/24 due to a conflict with another connection to them.
It should've read:
Remote IP Address: 75.145.60.22
Local IP Address 75.148.44.16
Remote network: 192.168.33.0/255.255.255.0
Local networks: 192.168.16.0/255.255.255.0

If the remote network if 192.168.33.0/24 how come you have this configure on a local interface?

I need to test a bit more to make sure everything is working, but I added an ace, permitting esp on the local and remote networks. Now I can ping the remote netwrok.
I need to check with the remote site and see if they can ping me.
