hi friends:
i have a dsl modem connected in front of my cisco router, modem do nating and dhcp. the fast ethernet port have a public ip as it is connected to switch port of the modem. i want to establish site to site vpn on cisco router. my question is will the modem affect the vpn or not ?

The correct way of setting it up would be to put your modem in bridge mode and put your public IP on the ASA. Depending on the modem you may be able to NAT the public IP to the ASA, but your results may vary.
Hope it helps

It's usually a bit 'hidden'. What's the make and model?
