Slow VPN Client Performance over DSL

We have a Windows NT 4 / SP6 workstation that only sees ~150kbps into our network. The connection is DSL, 768kbps-capable each direction. The PC is a PIII 667 w/ 128MB RAM. She VPN's into a 5000 concentrator.

The connection speed as-is is unusable for the application. We expected much better from DSL.

Does anyone have any ideas???

I have seen and have done some pretty drastic things by adjusting the MTU but can't say what seetting would work best for you. You can play around with it or maybe someone else has a setting. Also, how much traffic is going into that 5000? Could be that's all the bandwidth left but it sounds as if you would have factored that in already.
