Hello,
I am having an issue with the SSL WEB VPN setup on my ASA5505. I went through the standard configuration steps on the cisco website using the ASDM. I am able to get connected and logged into the ASA via the secure https web login, but when I try and look up resources on the inside of my network it can never retrieve them. I don't have a domain, but is it absolutely neccessary that I have a DNS server or WINS server or both on the inside of my network to do this? Why can't it just look up the fileshares via IP instead of name? I just wanted to see if this was an easy way to make file shares on the inside network accessible from the SSL web interface. The basic configuration on the cisco website is less than fully explanatory on how to do this.
tried the following:
\\pcname\drive(share)
\\pcipaddress\drive(share)
Thanks,
Dan
