I have a customer that is using a VPN 3005 w/ NT Authentication and NT DHCP. They have dial-up ISP users that they need to assign static internal addresses to (unix printing).
I first thought I could make static reservations in the NT DHCP pool, but the VPN 3005 assigns a dynamic MAC value each time the dial-up users grab a DHCP address. There does not appear to be a way in the client (3.6.2A) to assign one.
Any thoughts or suggestions greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

You can have the concentrator assign static address to the client. You will need to use local authentication and go into each user and configure there ip address.

Also make sure that the Address Assignment method is set to Assign Address from Authentication Server (the built-in/internal Radius server of the VPN 3K, that is).

on the Concentrator (if using internal user auth), you can assign IP's on a per user basis (Local Pool not DHCP)
