strip domain name from Cisco VPN login.

WE have a few users who still use the authentication syntax of <domain>\<login> while connecting to the Cisco VPN 3060 concentrator via the Cisco client.  When we switched from Windows 2000 login to LDAP external database authentication, these users lost their ability to login using that particular syntax.  Now if they strip the <domain>\ and just use the login, all works fine.

Here is my question, is there a checkbox on the Cisco VPN concentrator 3060 that will strip the <domain\> from the login and just authenticate with the login name?  I see the Strip Realm, but that looks for @, or # signs.

Any ideas?
