Suggested way to configure VPN

Novice admin here, whos company has both a PIX 520 and a vpn 3000 concentrator.

I am trying to configure a PIX 501 for a remote office and was looking for an opinion on whether i should use easy vpn or setup the vpn manually?

I was also wondering if it was better to make the conccection to our PIX520 vs the VPN3000 concentrator.

We use the 520 for the firwall as well as some lan to lan sessions with some of our partners. (i didnt set them up)

We use the concentrator for our employees to connect to our site.

Your setup sounds similar to ours. We have a 3005 concentrator that the employees connect to and a PIX firewall (not sure about the model tho). I didn't set up the current installation so I'm not sure which method they used.
