Support for ChromeOS / Chromebook

What are the plans for supporting Cisco AnyConnect on ChromeOS / Chromebooks? Google recently released an API for VPN support on ChromeOS:

It's now 2019, it appears that Any Connect is no longer supported on the RV325 because they stripped out SSL VPN support in later firmware.  Am I incorrect on this? 

So Any Connect is no longer of any use for connecting to a VPN on this router with a Chromebook...
