Hi all,
I've got a Cisco ASA 5505 configured as a VPN-gateway. Now it seems that some clients are able to connect, while some are not, and I am not able to figure out what could be the cause.
When clients fail, I get the following output:
%ASA-7-609001: Built local-host outside:195.18.204.200
%ASA-7-609001: Built local-host identity:192.168.20.2
%ASA-6-302013: Built inbound TCP connection 1364 for outside:195.18.204.200/36148 (195.18.204.200/36148) to identity:192.168.20.2/443 (192.168.20.2/443)
%ASA-6-302014: Teardown TCP connection 1364 for outside:195.18.204.200/36148 to identity:192.168.20.2/443 duration 0:00:30 bytes 0 SYN Timeout
%ASA-7-609002: Teardown local-host outside:195.18.204.200 duration 0:00:30
%ASA-7-609002: Teardown local-host identity:192.168.20.2 duration 0:00:30
On the clients that are able to connect I get a popup asking to enter the requested proxy credentials. This is probably because my IE is set up to use a proxy. If I visit the VPN login page through IE first, this pop will not be displayed. I tried setting the clientsettings to "IgnoreProxy", but this did stop the popup from displaying. Are there any other things I could try?
I'm sorry for lack of knowledge on this topic, but I haven't really worked much with networking before.
