The VPN client agent was unable to create the network environment component

Hi All,

 

I'm trying to install Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client. However, I got the following:

Error: The VPN client agent was unable to create the network environment component
Installer: anyconnect-win-4.8.01090-core-vpn-webdeploy-k9.exe
Actions Taken: I've read from forums to disable Internet Connection Sharing. It was already disabled but I got the same error.

 

PC Specs:

I was able to solve this by exporting the trusted root certificate "VeriSign Universal Root Certification Authority" from one machine and importing it onto the machine giving this error.  After this, the installation succeeded.
