Hello,
I am facing a very strange issue with GRE Tunnel. Tunnel was working fine from past 2-3 years, but 2 days back suddenly its went down and present status is " Tunnel1 is up, line protocol is down" .
I did following steps but still status is same:-
1. Reloaded the router and ADSL (Service provider's device).
2. From my central location hop-on-server Public IP of router is reachable, but not reachable from VPN router of Central location VPN router.
3. Reseted the tunnels at both end.
4. Reconfigured the tunnels at both ends.
5. Checked with Service provider, but they responded saying that as my public IP of the VPN router is reachable from outside there is no issue with ISP's end.
6. Did not made any configuration change on VPN router in last few weeks.
7. There are many more tunnels configured on central location router and all are working fine.
Setup is like:-
VPN Router (for which tunnel is down) ----------->ISP's ADSL ----------------->Internet --------------------------->Central location Router
