Unable to remove vpn_uninstall

Trying to start from scratch a Mac OS X VPN 4.0.3E client.

The uninstaller is still located in /usr/bin/local/ directory

If I do a

sudo rm -i vpn_uninstall

I receive a permission denied.

We think this file is causing the problems for this Mac OS X to connect to our VPN and network.

Does anyone have the syntax to remove the vpn_uninstall file?

Check for execute permissions for the client

ls -la /System/Library/StartupItems/CiscoVPN/CiscoVPN
