Hi team,

How to Update Cisco Anyconnect Secure Mobility Client to version 5.0.0*? Is it possible to upgrade the Cisco any connect client to the Cisco secure client for users without the right to install programs on the Windows OS? Are there any service rights for renewal for Windows?

@sergei-bilan you upload the latest client to the ASA/FTD headend and the clients will automatically upgrade themselves, alternatively you can deploy the software to the computers using your software management tools (SCCM etc).

The Windows clients do not need admin rights on the devices to upgrade the software automatically.

I would recommend upgrading to the latest Secure Client version 5.1, which will have the latest bug fixes.

FYI, MacOS does require admin rights to upgrade to 5.1 https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/vpn_client/anyconnect/Cisco-Secure-Client-5/release/notes/release-notes-cisco-secure-client-5-1.html#web-deploy-upgrade-on-macos-requires-admin-privileges
