Updating Connection IP Address Windows 10

The external IP address at my business just changed, so we had to update our client's configuration files in order for the VPN to work.  In Windows 7, all I had to do was update the IP address in the DefaultCLientProfile.xml in C:\ProgramData\Cisco\CIsco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client\Profile\ and it works fine.  In Windows 10, I updated the IP address in the same file, and it still reverts back to the old IP address.  Any ideas?

Your admin should update the xml file that the anyconnect downloads when you connect, then you should have the correct IP in the xml file.

If the modified xml and the one automatically downloaded have the same name that could be the problem.

You could just copy the xml file and change the name and the IP. You might also want to change the hostname in order to be able to differentiate between the 2.
