I recently got hired at Cisco, and have been trying to configure my laptop to get onto the Cisco Systems. I followed all steps to setup a VPN, including creating a SofToken II key/PIN and using it to connect to San Jose-SSL VPN. When I am at a Cisco office, and connected to internet via an ethernet cable, Cisco AnyConnect seems to be working successfully. However, the moment I disconnect from the internet, Cisco AnyConnect fails. In other words, I cannot access Cisco's network remotely, and would love to know how to resolve this issue

When you say it fails the moment you disconnect from the Internet - you are connecting to the Internet using some other method, aren't you?

I should also warn you that this is a public forum that you are posting into. It is not internal to Cisco.

Ah, just figured it out. I was accidentally disconnecting from the internet. Thanks for that input!
