[virtual-template interface limit number]

hi,

i have an MGX-8250 and an RPM working as an IP concentrator. very basic.

i ran into this:

RPM-7200(config)#int virtual-template ?

<1-200> Port Adaptor number = 1

RPM-7200(config)#int virtual-template

is there any way to extend the number of virtual-template interfaces allowed beyond 200?

which IOS version are you running ? The maximum number of configurable interfaces can usually be seen with the command 'show idb'...

show idb looks like this:

RPM-7200#show idb

the limit for vitual-template on this IOS is 200, i would like to know if there is a way to change it to 300 or so (the limit).
