VPN 5001 will not accept config general commands

unit seemed to work fine. I did a boot up w/ rotary dial 6 to erase an old config. I reset to rotary 0.

Unit boots up fine & config is blank HOWEVER, unit does not seem to accept any config commands.

I tryed another hard boot - same result.

Please advise.

You can use the rotary switch on the back to change the bootup behavior. If you rotate the rotary switch to position 8, it will boot up without loading the config, and it will allow you to use "Show Config" to view the box's config. You can then restore the configuration with the existing config file.
