VPN client 3.6.4 BSOD after SP4 install on w2k

I have a windows 2000 professional pc with SP2 install and VPN client version 3.6.4 installed. When I install service pack 4 and reboot, the PC will not boot and I get a STOP: c000021a BSOD.

If I go into safe mode, no mememory.dmp file exists. If I uninstall the vpn, the pc is fine.

I think it has to do with the Gina.

Has any one else seen this?

This problem occurs if the fully qualified domain name ( FQDN) of your computer is exactly 200 bytes long. check out this link:

I saw this on microsoft as well, but it is not the issue.
