Hi - I would like to install a VPN client to work on my personal laptop, which is running windows vista.
My work laptop is windows xp, and has VPN Client Version 4.8.00.0440. I tried to install this client (4.8.00.440) before reading up, and of course it did not install correctly.
I found a few threads, which from Cisco which stated that "Cisco VPN Client and Windows Vista CompatibilityVERSION 4 The Cisco IPSec VPN Client supports Windows XP and Windows Vista 32-bit only. You need to ensure that Windows6.0-KB952876-x86.msu is
installed with the 5.0.4 client.Version 5.0.4 is what we recommend customers use."
However, I couldn't find this client in the download section. Perhaps it's been superceded, or perhaps I'm just not navigating to the right area on Cisco's site.
Any help would be appreciated!
thanks
-Seth
