From the "Readme for Windows Vista VPN Client" posted 02-JAN-2007 on the Cisco Software Download site.

Revisions:

Release 4.8.02.0010 MSI version only.

Files:

vpnclient-win-msi-4.8.02.0010-k9.exe

update-4.8.02.0100-major-k9.zip (to be posted on 1 January 2007)

Advisory:

Even though this client will install on Vista please understand that this portion of the code is still in BETA and should be treated as such.

The Windows VPN Client version 4.6.04.0043 was the final version that will officially support the Windows NT operating system.

The Windows VPN Client version 4.8.00.0440 was the final version that will offically support the windows 98 operating system.

Due to issues surrounding network installation, Active Directory Group Policy

Software Deployment is not supported. Please refer to Bug ID CSCse00525

for workaround.

The IPsec VPN client does not presently support 64-bit Windows.

How about the SSL VPN Client for Windows Vista? Any Update Verions?

I could not get the full client working on Vista. i can't even get it installed without errors. I am, however, able to use the SSL client very nicely from same machine. I'm using AnyConnect version 2.0.0171. works well, the only issue i've seen is when i disconect from VPN my dns does not return to normal. an ipconfig /release + renew fixes it.
