I have an ASA 5510 version 8.0 and I have made the configuration for the VPN remote access. I have installed the VPN client (5.0.07.0410) on my laptop ( Windows XP SP3) and connected to the network through VPN client and eveything is ok, but when I install the VPN client on any laptop with Windows 7, the vpn client connects but I can not get access to anything on the network. I managed to solve the problem by making a route change to the routing table of the Windows 7 but the problem is that I have to do it everytime I connect to the VPN, and this route does not have to be added if I am using a windows XP.
I am sure that there is nothing wrong with the VPN configuration. Is there another way to solve this problem rather than adding a route on Windows ??
