Anyone have good suggestions for good cross-platform vendor for VPN client software?
I have looked at SafeNet (I believe this is what Cisco is reselling). I have got conflicting information from Cisco and SafeNet's websites concerning platforms supported (besides MS).
Any suggestions or clarification would be appreciated.

Current OS support includes Windows 95/98/NT/2000 and Windows ME as well as Macintosh, Solaris, Linux and Intel. It also supports organizations using IPX and AppleTalk protocols according to this http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/146/news_cisco/dlls/prod_040401.html Also better yet is the new 3002 which is a hardware client you just plug your machines into.

Cisco used to OEM the safenet before developing a number of clients of their own. They are working on acheiving a unified client for all platforms but until then, you need to consult the matrix to work out which client works on which platform.
As IPsec is an open protocol, third-party clients should work but you will often find a mis-match on the specific features supported. TAC does not support third-party clients, unsurprisingly.
