The context is :

I have two routers 1720 with IOS IP/FW Ipsec 56.

I want to connect them between INTERNET.

Connexion between the router and the ISP is Frame-Relay.

What are the actions for the ISP ?

Do i need to make a tunnel ?

Can my router can be connected whitout IPSEC and VPN ?

How can i do if i want my routers go to INTERNET AND interconnect

the two sites ?

I don’t know of too many ISPs who do firewalling for you. It’s up to the individual to do the firewalling themselves. As long as all IP traffic is routed to you and you’re configured properly, it should work fine with no action at your ISP. You’ll need to configure your router and the other end of the VPN to build an encrypted tunnel. Setup a split tunneling access-list on both routers to direct traffic destined to the respective remote network through the encrypted tunnel and all other traffic to the Internet. Good Luck!
