VPN device behind DSL router doing PAT

I am trying to bring up a tunnel to an external vendor using a 501 they sent me. The device is behind a Verizon DSL router doing PAT and DHCP. The 501 is the only device on the inside. Is there anything I have to configure on the 501 if I am doing PAT.?

Hi,

Are you using IPSEC?

Have you or the vendor got NAT traversal running?

Is the Vendor using the VPN to get to you, is it vice versa or is the VPN supposed to be two way?

It really depends upon, how you want to initiate the tunnel, either from your side to vendors side, or the other way round ?
