VPN session hangs when the -ls command is used

I have users who VPN using the Cisco client. They can access everything okay, but when the use putty to ssh or telnet into Linux servers, they cannot use the -ls command. the Session crashes.

When you click the Thin Client link, your system may display a dialog box regarding digital certificates, and this dialog box may appear behind other browser windows. If your connection hangs, you should minimize the browser windows to check for this dialog box.
