VPN tunnel problems

I've got a client who sees the following message in their firewall logs when I try to establish a telnet sessions through a site to site VPN tunnel. Can someone tell me what this means?

NAT Discovery : Peer IPSec Security Gateway doesn't support VPN NAT Traversal".

Hello,

It means is that the device is attempting to negotiate an IPSec connection with. IPSec packets will be sent normally, without being encapsulated within UDP. What firewall on other side? SonicWall?
