Hello forum,
I am trying to setup WebVPN feature on Cisco Concentrator 3005 where users will grant access upon successful authentication by a radius server.
After reading some documentation on that feature i have realized that authorization server is essential part of the configuration.
The problem is that i am using the same radius server (Microsoft IAS) both for authentication and authorization. Authentication pass successfully but authorization had failed.
Did someone experience such an issue?
On the concentrator setting web page for authorization server there is a filed called 'common user password' - what password should I type in? is this administrator password that should authorize the authenticated user?
Can some one elaborate on the mechanism of user authorization session? It is not so clear in Cisco documentation.
Kindly regards,
Yossi Mor

Using same server for both authorization as well as authentication is very much possible and practicle.
