What VPN solution to implement?

I would like to have some of you offer me a solution for the following proposal: We need to have high availability in offering remote VPN access to our data center at all hours. What VPN solution would satisfy up to 25 concurrent connections into the data center? Please suggest what VPN concentrators/gateways I should consider.

We have PIX 515 (x 2) on order as our firewall solution.

Thanks in advance.

A VPN 3000 concentrator operating on VRRP would meet your needs.

With only 25 users , you can use the PIX 515 and the 3.5x client as a cost effective solution as long as your architecture will support it. The 3000 concentrator is a lot of overkill in this instance unless you can get a refurbished one at a good price. I got an older one(still has the Altiga logo) that runs the new software for only $2500 including a 90-day warrantee for use in my data center and it has never given us a problem.

Good Luck,

I would recommend VPN 3000 series concentrator. It has all the features which you will require to secure your network. Though you can configure PIX to terminate your VPN tunnel, but I think VPN concentrator is a scalable solution in case if number of simultaneous connections increase in future.
