Cisco Ironport WSA S170 License Question

Hi

Do any of you guys know if is possible to scale beyond 1000 users in an WSA Ironport S170.

The situation is that i need WSA licenses for 1000 users, but if i buy the 999 licenses with the S3 option (up to 999) it cost me $ 33.18 USD per user, but if i buy just one more (1000) of the S4 licence (up to 1999) it will cost me $ 24.32 USD per user, this is with the essential, but same happens with premium. Im only going to need a thousand users, i dont think we will exceed this number in a short period, so i was thinking an S170 would be suitable for us but im not sure if is possible to apply an S4 licence in this type of device since in cisco documentation says that it will be support up to 1000 users.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi,

The Cisco WSA can support upto 1500users so you can go for the S4 SKU as the License.
