Hi all,
does anybody know is if possib ile to sync the configuration between two WSA in high availability? I didn't find anything in the documentation, probably the SMA is required...
Many thanks

Yes, SMA is required to do it in an "automatic" fashion.

Hi Ken,
thanks for the reply.
What do you mean with "automatic"? Are there any other method to sync the configuration (exept manualy replicate and backup/restore)
Many thanks again!

By "automatic" I mean, in any way that's isn't backup/replicate/restore by hand...
There isn't any other way to do what you're looking for...

I understand, so basically the HA functionality is only for IP high availability.. no traffic flow is preserved (session table) during the failover (like cisco ASA for example) and no configuration sync is performed..
Probably the standard PAC load balancing is better.. what do you think about that?

We use WCCP, not explicit, so I don't have much experience with PAC or HA... HA does make your PAC file simpler, since you don't have to make it HA aware...
